I just bought some 75 Ohm F-Type Terminator for Cable/Satellite to put on the open ports I have on my disq.

Be very careful using 75 ohm terminators on switches and open ports. Most FTA gear is designed for unterminated open ports. I only use caps without a resistance load. 75 terminators can mess with 22KHz/DiSEqC commands.

Ok I tried the 75ohm terminator and Titanium was right! The terminators terminated my Ses 3 sat. I took them and it works fine now!

If you want to use the terminators as caps to just cover the open ports, just rip/cut out the wire in the center of the terminator.

i think i will just use a ziplock bag!

Leave the bag open and the opening facing down to drain. A sealed bag will collect condensation and cause more problems than having no cover at all.

Cut off cable ends work good to cover unused ports on switches. I push the wire back so that it will not make contact and cut it off from the back side. Works good and is cheap.

I did this exactly! using a freezer bag with one of those plastic blue and it works great! hehe
I have the open part of the bag facing down!
