You can delete what you don't need / want, the extras do no harm though.
Just keep the known Live ones, just so you know where you are at in the Arc.
Over time TPs change, or are wild feeds fom a Blind Scan.

Ok, we tried to set to USALS and set antenna to 103w but when we hit enter at the USALS spot it takes us out of the setup menu and back to a channel. I think that we are stuck setting up each satellite individually.

Our setup screen is also different than what is shown in the manual and the one that I opened from the post above.
Our screen does not show the edit options with the colored buttons. So we are not able to edit. Is there something that we need to download so we have the same screen that is shown in the manuals?

Is the Channel viewable?

I think that is good, that is your True South Sat, the motor should not move.
Try AMC4, motor should move for about 1 second. Then find a Live TP

The channel is viewable if it is not on a channel that came up scrambled, or with a very week signal.
We moved to AMC4 and it moved quite a ways to the east of the AMC1 that we found. Also in a previous post we were told to set Freq to 12101 but it is not available on our list, and we can not add it.
When we were in the antenna set up it was showing the meters at the bottom, but up at the top above the actual sat name, it was showing Echostar 119W. Does that mean it was actually reading the Echostar sat instead of the AMC1??

Probably means your LNB setting are wrong.
Do you know exactly which LNB you have? Please List.
You can not use a DishNet or DirecTV LNB for FTA.
FTA has 2 types of LNBs:
Universal = Low L.O. = 9750, High L.O. = 10600
and
Standard = L.O. - 10750

If you know which LNB you have enter the approate L.O.

EDIT: I know you mentioned you had a Sub, are you using any switches with the Fortec?

This is what is on the LNB
GEOSAT Pro Standard Single LNBF GSLIs Bullet Input 11.70-12.75GHz L.O. 10.75 GHz
There are 2 of these on our dish, and they are set to Zero.

We ordered the Glorystar system, so we have what they sent us.

FTA has 2 types of LNBs:
Universal = Low L.O. = 9750, High L.O. = 10600
and
Standard = L.O. - 10750

I am guessing that we have the Standard = L.O. - 10750

If you know which LNB you have enter the approate L.O.

We have now figured out that we have had the LNB set wrong, we had it set at Universal. Maybe this will help us out.

We just got AMC 1 in and it looks to be true south now. We are trying to change the elevation because we are getting a very low quality level (29%).

We still do not have the screen the same as what it shows in the manual. Do you have any suggestions there?

I am looking at both physical and downloaded manuals, but the screen we have is different.

SO if we have the double LNB is that going to mess things up for us? My husband said he does have the single LNB, should we change that out?

I wouldn't worry about Menus now.

The double LNB on a motorized Dish can be tricky.
Do you have the Single?

Were you able to tweak the Signal?

We do have the single LNB.

We tried tweaking, but were not able to get any better on the quality.

We were able to download some channels but they are not coming in very well.

Ok we are going to switch out the LNB and see if that helps.
This may take a while.
Thanks.
