I have a question about "moving" my DirecTV service address.

I live in Florida, and would like to see the Rangers games in HD, which are not available over center ice. (MSG only, no HD feed).

If I were to "move" to New York, would I be able to get the games via MSG/SNY in HD? (and ABC/CBS/FOX/NBC)?

Are there any other downsides to "moving"?

You would get all of the channels you mention, because they are on the CONUS beams. The downside? If Directv finds out, they will likely shut you off. I doubt it would happen, though. Lots of people do it.
Also, the other hd channels like WPIX won't come in because they are on spot beams.

Also keep in mind, to watch CBS ABC NBC and FOX out of New York in HD, you will have to watch them in the 390's. Enjoy! I "moved" to New York back in July!
