MRV not working

I just connected my hr-24 to the internet and now mrv is not working. Has anyone else had this problem?

Details? How is it connected; what hardware? Post photos?

Could search out one of the other 100 or so threads regarding the exact same topic.

The hr24 is connected to the router with a eathernet cable and the the three receivers are hooked up to swm dish with a power inserter.

Using the ethernet port in the HR24 disables MRV.

You will need a DECA. Here's the adapter and they have a diagram there:

DIRECTV Ethernet Coax Adapter DECA (DECA1MR01) - DIRECTV - DECA1MR01 -

Basically, this adapter connects to your switch or LNB to your router.

You also need the power supply for the DECA if it is being used as the Internet connection.

If cost is an issue you would be better off calling Directv and ordering the internet connection kit. I think the last I heard the charge was $25 for the kit. It is $60 if ordered through Solid Signal.
