The MultiChannel News forum is not even active. I turned it off a few days ago as they have not got their RSS feed issue fixed.
Ahh looks like they fixed their issue. 
I am going to turn it back on, and then you should be able to exclude it.

Seem to be unable to click on any of the links in the MultiChannelNews forums.
When I click any of the links to read the full article I am asked for a username and password ... does the RSS feed that is linked require a log-in ?
edit - seems to be working again now ... strange.
