I have given up, for now, trying to get C Band on a DTN dish. So instead I added two of the those nice RED LNBF's for 97 and 101 and with some American engineering I am happy to say success.

If you haven't entered the SatAV contest for bizarre mounted dishes you should put in the Fortec Star dish mounted on the clothesline pole!

By the way, is the DTN a ChannelMaster dish? The support arms like the ones on my 90cm dish.

I think it is. It is certainly of that quality. I wish I could find the proper mount for it, so I do not have those two side arms just hanging there serving no purpose.

Very nice pics...the clothesline one if pretty cool

now I know what to look for next time I'm in faribault...the house with the dish attached ot the clothes line ;)

Now if you mount a transmitter on the top as an offset to shoot parallel with the lines, your domestic engineer will have her very own microwave clothes dryer.

Be the 1st in your neighborhood to have one!

I can hear it now......."Honey, I promise after this load you can watch the rest of the 'Leave it to Beaver' marathon.

Nevermind those nasty lil' tumors the kids develop after playing in the back yard for 6 months or so...........

> Nice dishes, but I'm confused about what part the hose reel plays. Brace?

To keep the dish from moving in the wind. I have a firepit and bucket of dirt on the other side.
