Did anyone catch LeBron playing some air Guitar Hero last night on the sidelines? This photo was taken in the 4th quarter when Daniel Boobie Gibson hit a dramatic outside shot. This team is all about FUN, and LeBron is the Maestro of this sweet, sweet melody of a season!

PS. It's "Green Week" in Cleveland. Do your thing to help save the planet and recycle. :)

I'm not worried about the Pistons. They're old and tired. The torch has been passed in 2007 during the historic Game 5 at the Palace of Auburn Hills during the Eastern Conference Finals.

Not that the Piston's would beat the Cav's....

Gone Their Separate Ways

For those of you who don't understand the Cavs/Wizards rivalry, Michael Wilbon wrote a good column in the Washington Post recently about this very subject. Here's a snippet and the full article available by linkage below.....

About that rivalry: “When the Wizards took a one-point lead into the final 3.6 seconds in overtime of Game 5 in Cleveland the night of May 3, 2006, it looked as if they would be advancing to the second round again, and taking another evolutionary step in becoming a serious contender, at Cleveland’s expense, no less. But one disastrous defensive lapse allowed LeBron, with nine-tenths of a second left, to flip in a layup to win the game, 121-120. Instead of returning home for a close-out game with a 3-2 series lead, the Wizards lost the series in yet another overtime game, this one made infamous when LeBron talked Arenas into missing a crucial free throw in a one-point loss. From that moment on, the Cavaliers have steadily evolved to become one of the three best teams in the NBA, perhaps the best.”

Garnett, Powe in line for return next week

By: Mike Petraglia

Celtics coach Doc Rivers said this morning at the team's shootaround that Kevin Garnett and Leon Powe are both likely to return to action in the team's final two games next week before the playoffs. Rivers said that even if they do play, he will treat the games more like practice for the two forwards who are both rehabbing right knee injuries. Powe went through a light workout and drills this morning but, like Garnett, will not play in tonight's game against Miami at TD Banknorth Garden. For more, check out the Green Street blog.

Congratulations to the Cavs for clinching homecourt advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs!

The Celtics defeated the Heat for their 60th win tonight.

That, combined with the Magic losing at home to the Knicks, reduces the Celtics magic number to 1 to clinch the #2 seed (and homecourt advantage in a potential second round matchup).

Game 1 schedule for playoffs starting a week from tomorrow:

Saturday 4/18

3:00pm ET (ABC-HD)

5:30pm ET (ESPN-HD)

8:00pm ET (ESPN-HD)

10:30pm ET (ESPN-HD)

Sunday 4/19

3:00pm ET (ABC-HD)

5:30pm ET (TNT-HD)

8:00pm ET (TNT-HD)

10:30pm ET (TNT-HD)

I look for the Lakers to open on one of the ABC games, and the Cavs the other.

As far as the Celtics go, it's likely they will open Sunday night. Why?

Because the Celtics play at the Garden Wednesday night, which means the Bruins will host games 1 and 2 of their playoff series at the Garden on Thur/Sat instead of Wed/Fri.

The Pistons and Bulls both clinched playoff berths last night.

Like the NHL, all sixteen playoff teams have been determined. Now it just comes down to seedings.
