It's opening night!!!!!

Two games on ESPN U, but they are only for the diehards (even though one of them is St John's).

It'll get better.

Anyone see the beatdown UK gave poor Morehouse?

125-40

same reason why Minnesota plays D2 schools as exhibitions
-allows them to get everyone in
-they donate money to the team getting the beatdown for their athletic teams etc

sad part is Minnesota barely beats these D2 teams ;)

Morehouse is a DIII team, quite a waste of a night for UK.
BTW, does anyone know where Morehouse is ?

OK, the season started Monday night...but the REAL season of watchable games starts tonight!!! Nothing much over the weekend, but tonight is pretty good for early in November.

Friday
7:00PM Michigan State-North Carolina, ESPN (San Diego, CA)
9:00PM Wright State-Ohio State, Big Ten Network
9:00PM BYU-Utah State, ESPN Full Court
9:00PM Belmont-Duke, ESPN U

The real question coming into this season is how Utah State will fare minus four starters...and their cutest cheerleader. My cousin, the Catholic girl from Brooklyn who went to Christ the King High School in Queens, is now on a mormon mission somewhere in the South Pacific. Don't ask, don't tell.

The good news is that she'll have two years of eligibility left when she returns!

Enjoy!
