Need the Following information From Voom Subs

1 - Component, since I don't have a DVI switcher (very little difference in PQ, if any, compared to DVI, though)
2 - Primarily an Infocus 4805 at 480p (which, surprisingly, compares very favorably to a 720p Zenith TV) on a 7 ft wide screen
3 - STB set to 1080i

I run DVI 720 P into a Marantz VP12 S3 720P native. 100" Stewart Studiotek 130. Breathtaking picture Thanks.

Two Voom HD boxes:

1. Hitachi 61" RPT : Component, 1080i.
2. Panasonic 500 projector: Component and DVI. Prefer component for better colors. 720p.

Panasonic is way better - 100" screen - perfect PQ with Voom. :D

I have two VOOM STBs, each is set to output 1080i, via component cables.

TV1 Sony KF50XBR800 50 inch 16x 9 format LCD Native resolution is specified in manual as "1,049,088 pixels". This probably translates to 1366 x 768 pixels

TV2 Panasonic PT56HX20 56 inch 4x3 format CRT uncertain of native resolution; SD picture input source from VOOM box is via separate NTSC composite video cable

When I tried the VOOM-supplied DVI cable with the Sony LCD set, the picture was noticeably washed out. I just switched back to the component cables and the picture came alive again.

1. Component out -> JVC SR-W7U HD VCR component in -> SR-W7U's component out -> TV's component in (TV's DVI used by Momitsu HD Divx player)
2. 1280x768

PS: I have 3 STBs, other two are connected to SD only TVs: one via component output (set to 480i), one via S-video.
