With the genie / clients can you get a netflix app through the genie and then access your netflix on the clients?

Nope, DirecTV and Netflix are technically competitors.

No but would be great id Directv and Netflix could come to an agreement to get it on Directv and would help both with subscription for Netflix through Directv like Dish when they bouht out Blockbuster imo

I agree it would would be great idea and if Direct couldn't buy them but combine service it would give Directv more content and could add it to the HD Extra Pack to make it more enticing and get Netflix more subscribers!!

Dish Network's Slingbox Receiver has access to Netflix and they own Blockbuster, so I don't guess it's a competitor thing. Who knows the reason.

Ummm.. No, no it doesn't. None of Dishes equipment has access to Netflix.
