Network Question

I have a router(wireless/4 port switch) and two switches running off it. Can I run another switch from one of the existing switches?

I have a VIP722 and Slingbox Pro connected to a Links 5-port switch going to a Links 8-port switch. Also another 722 and Slingbox Original connected to another Links 5-port switch. Then both 5-port switches go to a Links 8-port switch and then the 8-port switch goes to my Links router. Everything works great.
