Finally got my hands on a one meter dish. It measures about 100 cm tall and 95 cm wide. It goes on a 2" mount, and originally had a wall mount, which the wife already nixed. It has no markings other than a couple of marks from previous owner, one of which appears to be close to 99W.

After a bit of trial and error with a GSP LNB and some "shim tape", I was able to lock in the Montana PBS transponder on my meter. I need to get something more secure, though, before taking this dish up to my roof. Where does one find a good 50 mm neck LNB or a suitable collar to fit in the original holder? I had a LNB holder for an Andrews 1.2 but it is not the right diameter for this dish of unknown manufacture.

I should mention that my meter gave me a short circuit message when hooked up to the Tee-Comm LNB, so I don't want to use it, of course.

It may just require higher current than your system provides. Might not actually be a short.

Use a standard offset LNBF. Print a feedhorn clamp reducer bushing... 10 minutes and 50 cents worth of filament on a 3D printer.
I don't have a 3d printer but someday I would like to play with one. Maybe I need to go to the hardware store and see if I can find a piece of pvc that I could adapt.

A friend had a stash of PVC pipes and let me cut off a small section of 1 1/2" pipe, which worked wonderfully as a spacer.

I found that the 1m dish isn't significantly better than the GSP 90cm dishes, but I might motorize the 1m dish for giggles. Right now, the 1m dish is on a NPRM on my roof for such time until I give it an assignment.

Here are some pics. Going up from the gutter, there is a dish for 99 with a newly-installed sidecar for 105, just to see if it was possible. It was, but there wasn't anything on 105 I want to watch.

Then, a dish for 101 which is by far the most used bird in our house. And on top, an 84e for 97.

You may also be able to see a Winegard TV antenna and a FM6 on a rotor.
