I thought that this was the one that will not be available to the public and will be sold to restaurants and such. Maybe that is wrong also.

The article states this DVR "Runs similar software to their MPEG4 HD DVR". That means this is an advanced version of the HR20-250 due later this year. I would expect the HR20-250 will be more suited to the normal D* user, and a lot cheaper than $1,500! :)

this is not the tivo-like DVR that we're all awaiting...

This is the HR-20P, the professional HD DVR that will
be sold for professional home theaters and the like...

It is rack-mountable and has a LCD screen front...

I wish people would do more research before they start
posting wrong info...

It says clearly that this is not meant for average users; only for high end users and home theater freaks..................please read article before posting

Why would a restaurant need a DVR? Its hard enough to get them to not run an RF feed to their plasmas.:eek:
