WHY would the Cards coach call a timeout?

This is the wrong call.

They had the ball around the Boy's 35 or so, the Cards are off sides, doesn't that make the Boys ball at their 40 if they accept it and the end of the play if they decline it ( Cards 40)

This is BS unless I don't understand an offside call after playing and watching football all these years.
