NHL 2008-09 Season

Paul, care to rethink that in the cold clear light of this Sunday Morning ;)

I was referring to Pittsburgh, But that was really sad last night for the Wings and Ozzie. One time was a blip, but now they've gotten their arses handed to them twice in the last 10 days. Don't know what to make of this. Still, a winning streak will clear this away also.:D

GO RED WINGS!!!

Yup, you got us at the right time.

The B's are struggling!

I don't think getting the #1 seed is a big deal, Bill.

The Ducks and Hurricanes have won Cups as a #2 seed, and last year's Penguins were a 2-seed and got all the way to the Cup Finals

I coming to the conclusion that this team is a year away.

They've had a great year and are very young and talented, but I can see this team bowing out in the second round..............or worse!!!

I think New Jersey will win the East, and if not them Washington.

Crazy game in Detroit.

Red Wings take a big lead, give it up, tie it up, and lose in a shootout.

This is the third time I can recently recall Detroit not getting great goaltending (losses of 8-2, 8-0, and 6-5).

Bill, no offense, but goaltending like that will NOT win another Stanley Cup.

You tout Detroit as the team to beat; with that goaltending, I'm iffy.

Those first two losses aren't on the goaltending. The Wings look bored again. Bring on the playoff's and we'll see then if goaltending is an issue.
