No sound

This morning, my HR24-500 was not putting out any sound. Tried to do a menu reset, but the system locked up. A red button reset fixed the problem. Everything was great last night. Ive seen some threads about new updates, and Im wondering if this was the case. How do I check for new upgrades? Anyone else had this problem?

Hmm, mine was doing the same. When I switched to PCM instead of DD it worked, but I was getting a high pitched squeal.

I've had it happen a few times after software upgrades. No problems this time around. New software went out the other night.

I checked when I went home for lunch, and I did get a software update last night, so I suspect that was the problem. Everything working now. Anyone know what was in the new update?

I did a reset, got the dd sound back, with no squeal! Woo hoo!!
