I am restoring a channel master that has a very old block style lnb...should i order a new one? i see that the new models promise more....do they deliver?

I've had good luck with the newer ones. Norsat has great reputation, don't know the specs of that one but it may work just fine. Using the old primestar lnbf that came on my 1m dish, I had excellent video on most channels, but when I replaced it with one of those little red lnbfs called the techsat tracker 2+, my quality readings went up by 10-15% on most channels. And a few channels I couldn't lock before are now viewable.
the norsats are a good line lnb
