Not getting Odd TPs

Been having issues with DirecTV @ mom & dad's place. Perfect 100% signal on Even transponders, but I have 50% on the Odd ones. Any idea what this is? I've tweaked and tweaked non-stop with no luck.


Is this an LNB issue or a switch issue? Thanks in advance.

It could be either, I would guess the LNB , but check the MS first, you can remove it and run the line with a barrel and check to see if it works correctly, if so, replace the MS.
If nothing changes, it's probably the LNB.
I said check the MS first because it may be in a place that you can get to easily.
Could also be a faulty connection.

First check is to make sure all connections are tight and free of any corrosion. The next step is to bypass the multiswitch to eliminate that as the problem.

Also, backtrace all of the cabling to make sure there isn't a splitter anywhere in the line.

That was the case. One of the coax's cooper ends rusted out! That caused it! Thanks!
