null modem or strait cable

i have 2 pansat 2700A receivers,i need to go on pansat web site to get the latest version software for the 2700A,i am not sure if this receiver uses a null modem cable or a strait through cable.i want to use these receivers for galaxy 19 for aljazeera in enlish.but i need to update the software first.
does any body know what is the correct cable would be ?
