I know the SD NY locals are broadcast nationally. I was wondering if the HD NY locals are also national or if they are on the spot beam? Thanks guys.

NYC (and LA) are still MPEG2 national as well as MPEG4; the MPEG2's are used as the DNS HD.

Yeah, I can get WCBS-NY on 4 different channels

2-1 OTA Digital
2 HD (MPEG4 local feed)
2 SD
82 HD (MPEG2 national feed)

Same goes for WNBC-NY, WNYW-NY, and WABC-NY heh. Talk about overkill.
