Ohio State does not want to play LSU in the BCS Championship...

Polls...polls...and more damn polls.

Not that I am an OSU fan, but how the heck does the BCS rank a fluffy 9-1 Big East West Virginia team, with two (2) victories over Top 25 competition, over Big Ten powerhouse Ohio State, 11-1, with four (4) victories over Top 25 competition? Sorry, but West Virginia should be NOT be ranked ahead of OSU.

It is because their loss came earlier in the season. It has always been that way, not that I agree with that.

Lets see here - Mizzou beats Kansas, Texas or Oklahoma beats Mizzou in the Big 12 championship. West Va. loses to Connecticut, and PRESTO - Ohio State is back in the BCS Championship. See how easy that was?

I would be ELATED if your post came true :D
As for the top 5 you posted, I doubt OSU moves up that far and seeing they have NO more games, normally they have teams pass them because of that, but I see your side of the scenario .... and I LIKE it !

Well...say adios to LSU, adios to Kansas or Missouri tomorrow afternoon, and adios to West Puffginia after they lose to UConn or get bounced down in the polls. Say hello to the BCS Jimbo!

They do have Big 12 title game next week. It depends if Sam Bradford plays tomorrow against my Pokes. If he does, I think OU wins, if not then I don't think they can hang with OSU. If OU loses and Texas goes to the BIG 12 Title game then the KU Missouri winner is in the BCS game. If not it will be a toss up against OU. Either way I think Ohio State is looking good right now.

bye bye bayou. i say ohio state-kansas for the national championship. truthfully, ohio state is the only safe team right now. whoever loses in the kansas-mizzou game is out. the winner plays the sooners in the big 12 game and could lose. plus, west virginia still has uconn and pitt, i believe.

NOPE....I am telling you that THIS YEARS Championship game could be played by 2 teams with 2 loses....LOL

...THEN ALL KINDS of team will be hooping an hollering that THEY with ONE or TWO loses deserves to be playing in the Championship game....

...which will turn into craziness and MAYBE...JUST MAYBE we can FINALLY have a serious discussion about a playoff system....

..so ALL in favor of a playoff should REALLY hope the top 4 or 5 teams keep losing....

They rank WV ahead of them because WV LOOKS FAST and they are impressionable.

I think Texas lost today, that should end the Texas in the Big 12 as champion.

I like your idea of this turning into a playoff :up
But , Ohio State is Not Eligible to lose another game to get into the 2 loss playoff scenario.

Where are those FAST loud-mouthed LSU fans now??? hmmmmmm......

No, Ohio State doesn't want to play LSU, cuz they(LSU) won't be in the BCS Championship game!

The NC game might be an easier game than the Rose Bowl this year !
Looks like the Rose Bowl gained some credability this week.

Yes, I think you're right. But there's no way to jump 2 spots if you're #3 before the bowl games....and we'd like to be #1 after it's all done. :)

Ohio State is currently tied for #3 in the BCS computer rankings with WV and ASU. Missouri is ranked 6th and only ahead by virtue of the voters, so that might help us very soon!
