Personally, I think he was glad he showed up. I helped him run the drop from the dish and mounted the splitter for him.

And handed him $50 on his way out the door.

8 port SWM splitter ( that was all he had in the van

Ethernet hooked up and now it is time to play.

That was very generous considering from your description of what little work he did. If it was done right, it will be worth it instead of fighting more reschedules.
