Actually I think it's worst for E* folks. At least D* laid out their plan on what had to happen for new HD to be made available and started to list what channels they would be adding. We knew D* was out of bandwidth and couldn't add anything until their plan was executed.
But the E* folks have no idea on what Charlies grand plan is. Because E*'s system allows folks to see exactly what's on what transponders people have said there's spare bandwidth to add more HD channels with the existing fleet of satellites, and IIRC on a Charlie Chat they even said that, sorry if that's not right. Then E* teases folks with putting a couple new channels up as place holders for months on end with no news. All E* folks can hang their hats on is Charlie saying 100 national HD channels by the end of 2008, that's an 11 month window, sure hope E* folks don't have to wait that long.
