Is there a way to delete just one satellite and/or just the channels on that SAT, without doing a factory reset? I want to blind scan the SAT. Will that just add duplicate channels? Or will it just overwrite the channel list?
Thanks

if you blind scan a satellite, it will only add the new channels (and leave the old ones). It wont override the existing channels.

Go into "MENU",
OK "Instalation",
Enter "Password" should be 0-0-0-0,
Arrow (up/down) to "Edit TP/Satellite",
OK "Edit TP/Satellite",
OK the particular Satellite,
Arrow (up/down) to "Edit TP",
OK "Edit TP",
Arrow (up/down) to desired TP,
OK desired TP,
Choose between "EDIT" or "Delete" using right/left arrows, "Delete" according to your question,
OK "Delete", or "Edit" if you're changing TP, SR, or PID's,
Select OK again if you want to "Delete", or select "EXIT" if you've changed your mind...
Then, "Exit" out, or "Delete" or "EDIT" other TP's if necessary.

If I delete all of the TP's, one at a time, this will clean out all channels?
Then I can do a clean (Blind Scan) for this Satellite. Is this correct?
Thanks

Yes,
note# I would leave at least 1 TP in case nothing scans in so you'll have a refference to go to if necessary the next time you do a scan, especially on a sat like AMC 9 or G4 ku's where there is no 24/7 video.

Also using the Menu above, you can select "NEW" while in the menu and add TP frequencies and SR's. This is good to have if you're sure a TP is there and it won't/don't scan in and you know it's there. Also, if you get a frequency # from elsewhere and you're in a hurry, you don't have to do a lengthy scan, just a short TP scan.

no it won't. If you delete all the transponders, the channels stay in the system

Some receiver will delet the channel if you delete the transponder. The Coolsat & KUsat do that. Pansats don't (havent tried it with the fortec yet)
