wonder if we could become a coop like are electric company here in town. i would think 20 to 40 thousand people in a co'op might have a bigger voice instead of all spread out like we are now. if we all just paid and extra 2 bucks that be 40 to 80k a month to maybe run a couple transponders on a sat for are viewing pleasure

Interesting math, I wonder how high the monthly contribution of members could be to still be viable? I could pay $10/month

I would easily pay at least $50 per month on behalf of my Satellite TV business to support having a KU band subscription service as long as Canadian subscriptions are allowed. I'm sure dealers would not mind $50 per month as long as they would be listed as a supporter and a source for related hardware (i.e. smart cards) and subscriptions.
