Post Your Computer Performance Results

Running the old intel core 2 duo still.Got an AMD quad core that I built myself that sits idle most of the time.This old intel has been a great pc but,besides an ssd drive which I am wary of it is maxed out cpu and ram wise.Got the gpu overclocked a bit just to see how well the windows index report will go.

Question.Aren't any of you afraid of those SSD's?I have heard nothing but complaints about them failing.

The only real complaints I've seen is that the boot time isn't much improved on later versions of Windows.

If only Windows had support for a RAM disks...
 
That was going to be my question to all posting in this thread.What gpu are you using?

I have a middling Asus 5450 HD
 
My Geekbench sucks. It is my slowest and ONLY Windows machine I have. My others are running Linux and are Quad core with GTX 580.

I got 3801.

Not bad for a Dual Core system that measures 13" x 8.5" x 8"
