Price increase for college football PPV?

I actually found a "work around" for last weeks PPV game. It was on ESPN3 but was blacked out in the state of TN. So I downloaded a VPN app on my iPad which made it appear I was in Hawaii. So I was able to watch on ESPN3 and AirPlay it to my Apple TV.

It's very similar to the SEC. They have a contract with ESPN that airs every game except for one (I think) per season and its always a PPV game.

Big 12 gives each school 1 game for tier 3, which goes on ppv or the shorthorn network for texas, if its not picked up by a network.
