PTAT and the guide

PTAT didn't fire last night - figured it was just a glitch. It hasn't tonight either Sony investigated a little further and noticed that the guide hasn't downloaded past 8.30 tonight and I get the error message "unable to acquire program information" when trying to go into the PTAT settings menu.

Is there a way to force a guide download?

BTW - I'm still showing software v.207 that was last updated April 6.

click the red button on the hopper behind the front flap. It should reset. Then leave it in standby for a bit and it will download an update.

I even pulled the smart card and so far, no dice. I'm fairly certain I turn it in standby every night but all I'm getting now is a download for the next 30 minutes.
Any idea what transponder/satellite the guide comes off of? Or is it downloaded through the internet?
