I was wondering if I have a shot at getting a signal from this location. I am in NorthEast building in the complex, on the western side of the building.

Do you have a compass ?

In other words, check you alignment parameters and see for yourself.

I looked up the direction for my area, and found that it should be facing 185.1 deg. If the closest I can get is about 160 deg (building in the way, couldn't turn any more), would that be within the tolerance range?

You have to be within 1 degree or so on your compass bearing. Buildings are not always a problem, depending upon your elevation setting (you may be able to shoot right over the top of them)

There is about a 1 degree tolerance.Not 25.
