Quick Question - Pole in Bucket?

Well, got the pole and cement in a bucket. 3 foot total for the pole, and its pretty stable. I am scanning now, and showing 11719 v 2600, 1975 v 2600 12058 v 2600 so time will tell what I am on. I just have it sitting on my patio. I will find a better place this weekend. I just want to make sure I can still hit it :-) By the way, where on lyngsat do you look to see what those #'s mean?

as for Lyngsat, what I do is since you're aiming SW its something west of 93 :)
I just pull up the satellites that have KU and match it up
(or just ask)

yep, 26000 I left off a 0 :-) I will check lyngsat :-) Thanks for the info! I am glad I was able to get a sat within a few minutes. Not the one I am looking for, but at least I know I can get in the area, and then start fine tuning from there, and it wont take me 2 weeks :-)

I put everything away for tonight....I just wanted to be sure I could still "hit it" so to speak :-) I am gonna look for a spot this weekend, aim for a bird, see what I get and then put a pole in the ground. This bucket mount will be good to use as a temp mount so that I can verify a good location :-) Thanks again for the quick help!

This Dish is mounted in a bucket and works fine...
