I have been Comcast, Direct TV, Dish and back to Direct TV. Question for you knowledgeable guys. My bill is about $140.00 a month. I have high definition and a lot of packages. Almost daily, during the last month, minimal rain, overcast days, and our TV's go out. I can understand in a driving rain storm, but I also notice that the HD channels go out first and stay out. IS THIS NORMAL?
Thx,

sounds like the signals may be low; can you list them for us? its been raining nearly every day here for the last 3 weeks and mine hardly ever goes out except for the most severe event. my signals are at 93 at the lowest.

I live in Minnesota and through Rain and Snow, no loss of signal hits me. My guess is what Charper1 stated about your levels.

what gave you that idea?

dish needs to be re-peaked or bad lnb is possible, unless you got a switch that could be bad. Fittings would need to be checked to make sure no corrisions are affecting the conductors.
