Just got my bill and they conveniently inform me that they will be raising the rates next month. This is for Western Michigan so I do not know how big of a radius this includes..

Basic 13.75 to 14.99
Expanded Basic 37.24 to 38.50
Preferred Basic 50.99 to 53.49

Digital Services
Classic 11.95 to 14.95
Preferred 15.95 to 16.95

Digital Packages
Starter 52.98 to 55.48
Preferred 66.94 to 70.44
Preferred 1 Premium 80.99 to 85.99
Preferred 2 Premiums 91.99 to 96.99
Premier No SEP 102.99 to 108.99
Premier w/ SEP 102.99 to 116.98

On Demand Packages
Classic 62.94 to 68.44
Silver 76.99 to 83.99
Gold 87.99 to 94.99
Platinum 98.99 to 106.99

SEP(Sports Entertainment Package) 5.99 to 7.99
DVR 11.95 to 13.95

So according to this my bill will go up 2.50 for Preferred Basic plus 1 for Digital Services plus 2.00 per DVR. So my bill will go up 5.50 per month starting next month... uVerse hurry up..

Gas is up to 3.14 here. I spend 80$ filling up my cable van every 2 days. An increase of at least 20-30$ per fill up from last year. Thats about 2-3 fill ups a week. Multiply that by about 500 vans and about 100 bucket trucks (which use double the fuel) Include the increase in programming costs, and there ya go. Welcome to the world of inflation.

Fios also went up dish went up direc went up uverse went up. etc

Or... you know... cut your advertising budget.
Or, you could up your ad rates.
Or, you could do about a million other things that don't impact your customers.
