You install it yourself.
Very simple put it on flat ground plug it in and it automatically aims itself.

Some folks sandbag it down others buy a mount for it. It's up to you. Again very very easy to setup.

No mention of upload speed, only download speed of 50-150mbps. Anyone know what projected upload speeds are?
They claim when fully rolled out, it'll be 1Gbs
User reports on Reddit are typically listing 25-40 Mbps upload speeds...
I signed the waiting list about three weeks ago and I received the invite today as well. The "up to" six month fulfillment wait is a downer; especially if they want any money with the order.
I thought it was interesting (and surprisingly frank) that they noted that there would be times of no service.
If they can't cover their service area, they've got to cover something else.
I also got it today. The pricing structure isn't clear. I guess you spend $99 now and pay the $400-whatever for the gear. I may jump on it anyways, Comcast (avaliable less than a mile from me) won't come down my road, so eff 'em.
The service is still in beta with ongoing changes. Also, the constellation is nowhere near fully populated yet and ground stations are still coming online as they are ready.
Just about would have to setup a neighborhood private hub and everybody split the cost. That's not cheap at all for everything. Just checked and it wont be here until later this year.
If you read the initial agreement to get on the list you remember that you have to keep it online so that it can call home and send stats to them. That's what's going to make it great over time. I guess from speaking with a lady with Hughesnet and her experience with her service where no cable, fiber is available out in the sticks. Starlink is a great option. I gave her the printout of my invite and she's looking over what Hughes is sticking her for.
I like this fine print. So many people get basically unusable Internet once the slam-you-in-the -face occurs:
[3] If you exceed your monthly plan data, you will experience reduced data speeds, which are typically in the range of 1-3 Mbps, until your next billing period.
And the biggest suckaroo:
[12] After 6 months, plans revert to the standard monthly fee. Certain geographical areas are not eligible to receive offer. Offer ends 3/3/21. Restrictions may apply. Offer void where prohibited.

I recently helped someone install his. Its very user friendly. There is a 100 ft permanently attached cable from the satellite that needs to get into the house. Even though the satellite adjusts itself, the volcano roof mount could be designed better. Overall, I think via sat and wild blue might go by the wayside with the speeds these dishes can give. I guess we'll see what the future brings.
