Recording from antenna?

I recently got an antenna for picking up OTA HD signals and was wondering if I hooked it up through the R15 antenna in port if I would be able to record TV using that signal. I'm not asking if it would record HD, I'm sure it wouldn't, but does the DVR record any signal coming into the receiver or only that coming from the dish?

No.The connections on the back of the R15 is just a pass thru for the outside signal to the TV.To record the R15 would need a OTA tuner which it does not have.
But the HR20 does.
