I recived a call today from comcast offering to buy out my contract with Direct Tv and offered me all the channels for 52.99 for 2 years. This sounds great but am happey with Dtv. Will they do anything to keep me.

call them and at the prompt say cancel. they are getting tighter with fence jumpers so by wary. you also might want to get all the fine print details of that "all channels" cable offer; $53 for 2ys of "everything" sounds too good to be true.
