I see loads of at@t trucks all over my neiborhood in Coral Springs Florida. We are North west of Ft Lauderdale. 10 miles.

Cant get a date for when they are rolling out their new service. They are very non commital. I read that when they won the contract for Florida that they would be up and running by the end of 2007?
I was hoping that Verizon fios would get it but it seemed that At@t was very aggressive.

Im interested in getting it for a possible bundle deal. cell phone, internet and tv.

Are they offering any deals like that???

Also, from what Ive read, it seems they are lacking in programming and HD at this time. Also, you cant watch more than one hd program ( tv) at one time??
Im thrown for a loop on that one.

I do tons of recoding in hd. I have both dish and direc . Im lookin to drop dish.

In short-do I stick with dish or when uverse comes along give it a try.

Thanks!!!

Had it installed on Saturday in Illinois. Very clean nice install. I rather like it along with the 10MB internet service. I know ppl are talking about quality for HD but honestly it does not look bad, at leas to me. And by no means am I an expert.

Install was quick on my side although I had Cat5E running to all the TVs already so the installer only had to run from the NID to my basement network closet. Very good and knowledgeable installer.

No major hiccups as of today. Internet did goup and down a little during the afternoon for some reason but no return at this point. So far so good on my end.
