Hello All
I have a Laux Beta 9 solid dish 9 feet, also a 1.2 meter dish, they both are in good condition and sitting down on my side yard and I need to let them go for free, the 1.2m has a motor on it.
I Live in the Riverside California area, if anybody is interested please send me a message, no disassembly require.
Regards.

May be interested in the 1.2. Are you in a hurry to get rid of it? I don’t live nearby but get to Ontario on occasion.

Hello All
I made a mistake the 9 foot is metal dish, 8 panel metal dish, easy for transport.
I have a thread on this forum for this dish when I first got the dish, you can find a picture here https://www.satelliteguys.us/xen/attachments/imag0092-jpg.89329/.
The thread is under chewie1.
If you are interested who come in get it, let me know.
I am not really in a hurry to get rid-off the dishes, I will keep them for 1 month.
First comes first gets the dishes.
Regards.

someone please take the laux beta 9 so I don't have to cry if it ends up as scrap! It's a beautiful dish (I have one) and especially nice with an ortho feed on it!
I'm too far away here to take it but if he was in my area, I'd be over it!

The plan is to pick up both dishes on Saturday. I suckered my dad to pick them up. He is a good sport. He will then bring it too me this summer, and i WILL for SURE, post pictures, when i get them back up and running. :hatsoff

I have to admit, I was curios if you were getting ready to make a road trip. :D

Ignorant here, what is an "Ortho Feed" ?

Ortho, short for orthomode feedhorn. The feedhorn is the entire unit pictured. You can bolt on a pair of your favorite LNBs and connect to a multi-switch and maybe boost the voltage to the vertical LNB which would be 2V under spec at 13V but probably still works. And then you would have a setup that your receiver would treat just like Titaniums C-Band PLL LNBF. A setup if properly implemented should be better than Titaniums LNBF. And with High end LNBs you could spend close to a grand on your ortho unit ;) So I guess you can decide what parts are nicer ;)

Hello iBoston
Your dad came and took the dishes, they were nice and secure, I send you other things for the dishes That I will not be using.
The dishes are in good shape, you will not have issues getting a signal, enjoy and post pictures when they are up and running.
Regards.

Oh my gosh, I'm laughing so hard seeing the 1.2 meter in the passenger side. My dad is a loner... He has no need for a passenger seat, so had it removed so he can have more room for exactly this kind of stuff... Thank YOU VERY MUCH, and I look forward to getting them and you bet, ill post pictures... Thanks again!!! :clapping

Around June, this dish will be driven across country by my dad, from Southern California to the Great Lakes and will find a very nice home! - Thanks Dad!
