I've been hypothicizing that with the fragmentation of programs on various streaming services
Except for the fact you are ignoring, all those streaming shows, Landman, Dutton, Tulsa, Netflix (too many to name), etc, etc, will never be on Traditional Providers.
But, all the shows on Broadcast/Cable Channels, are on the Streaming Services, in better quality, for example, CBS shows, are in 4K next day on Paramount+.
and the increased pricing there may be a return to Dish-like providers.
While streaming services do go up every year, so does Dish ( just happened) and everyone else.
A traditional TV service is still about $50-70 more ( with less content) than all the services I have.
Also the hunt/agree/start vs a DVR which has many of your viewing preferences imbedded bothers me. Serial streaming is not my favorite way to view.
Again, I want new scripted content, the only way to get the majority of that, is streaming, going to a service, finding what you want, hitting ok takes a few seconds, having a DVR would not make a difference to me, if the content I want is not there.
