"Service Not Answering" (????)

The other day I had a message that the DVR couldn't connect for 2 weeks. I've tried changing some of the options to no avail. The DVR is still detecting and recording new and upcoming shows. Any idea n whats wrong?

i haven't recieved any message's ,but when i do a selftest it show's modem not working,yet the caller i.d. works, go figure
