Thanks.

Is it normal for 103 (a) and 99 (b) to have no signal?

This is my first time aiming a DTV Slimline

Nevermind, I figured out that 103(a) is spotbeamed...and I actually got

100,94,94,100,100,100 on transponders 16-21 respectively.....

These are my locals right?

What about for 99(b)?

Whichever one is spot beams for the 99 may have nothing on them in your area, but the Conus one should have signals on them ... I have strong signals on the first 14 on the 99c .... same goes for the 103,,the spotbeam one may or may not have signals depending on what is used in your area, but the Conus one has signal.

You may need to have your 99 and 103 tweaked some ....
Those are the ones that need to be fine tuned, they are also where you will find the majority of your HD programming as well

You have an H2x receiver right? I believe 99a is the CONUS sat and they should be tweaked.
103b could also have a little help.

Yes, I have a H21 Receiver....What signals should the 99a and 103b be? my 103b's are in the 80s......should it be higher?

99a and 103b carry the national (CONUS) HD channels. DirecTV says that your 99a/103b signals should be at least 70 - but with decent alignment they should all be in the 80s or 90s. 99b and 103a carry only spotbeams directed at different cities for HD locals, so seeing zero or low signals on many transponders is quite normal.
