SIRIUS Canada Goes Live With 100 Channels - the Most Channels of Satellite Radio in Canada

Waives activation fee for first 50,000 subscribers

Toronto, November 29, 2005 - SIRIUS Canada today announced that its premium satellite radio service featuring 100 channels of music, entertainment, sports and information will begin broadcasting on December 1, 2005. SIRIUS Canada will offer Canadians the most channels, the best variety and the highest quality of coverage among satellite radio providers in Canada.

"We are delighted to announce that SIRIUS Canada is going live as of December 1," said Mark Redmond, President and CEO, SIRIUS Canada. "Now Canadians will finally be able to experience SIRIUS Canada's premium offering with the best digital quality sound and the most extensive coverage offered by any satellite radio provider."

SIRIUS Canada also announced that in celebration of its December 1 launch, the company has waived its activation fee for the first 50,000 subscribers. This is a one-time activation fee of up to $20.00. "With over 7,000 requests for information made by consumers to our website to-date, demand for SIRIUS Canada products is going to be huge," continued Redmond.

"We are shipping out thousands of products each week to our retailers. The SIRIUS One and Starmate Plug and Play receivers will definitely be among this season's hottest gifts."

Iceberg does a decent job, I like Radio 3 as well. The French music depesses me, but I think that is the purpose of it.

French music? Ah, memories of high school...damn madame belofsky...what's that damn song about the bird, allouette or something?

BTW, stern mentioned he's using the s50 on his show this morning, there go the cash registers...
