SiriusXM is not free. I downloaded the app this morning and found Sirius wants to milk me out of another 2.95 for premium listening to get it on my Iphone. I think this is BS. ATT wants to limit bandwidth usage and Sirius pulls this crap.

I thought it was supposed to be free to subs who signed long term agreements before the deadline in March. I did that, now they want $2.95/mo more. what gives??

I cancelled my Sirius account. This is BS there is a lot of free stuff out there. I can't believe that Sirius is making their subscribers pay for IPhone. Also no Howard Stern and no FOX NEWS.

I will be calling today to cancel this is it for me. I have a old radio PNP in my truck that has been limping along with a bad antenna till the App was released. Now I find out that they want to charge me more so I can get "premium" content on my Iphone.

And I thought DishNetwork was bad with the nickle and diming with the fees and rules. Apple & AT&T take the cake on this one. The iPhone seems like a really cool phone the few times I've played with it except for the few hardware features that are lacking (screen, battery, SD card, etc). But the continued bashing from Apple & ATT about the software just seals the deal why I would never have one. I don't see how you guys can take the constant non-sense.

I'll stick with WinMo phone that may not have as many apps(that most people only use once anyways) but straight out of the box the phone is free to do more than the iPhone. Take a brand new Touch Pro. Download the free C-ApiSRO app and punch in your XM or Sirius ID/Pass and you're listening to all the channels you normally have on the web, including the Howard channels. Same thing with the Slingplayer, you can be listening to Howard and Sling'ing before you leave the store after buying the phone.

I think they are starting to phase Howard out. Word I am getting it he is returning to "save" terrestrial radio when his Sirius contract expires.

So instead of him being on the $2.99 a month iPhone application they want people to pay the $12.95 a month to hear him on the real satellite radio service.

Well the app is quite cool I must say. Really sucks no howard though.

I do love how they list the songs of every station so you can flip constantly like I like to do.

I'd be totally shocked if Howard went back to terrestrial, I don't think he'd ever do it.
If the show doesn't talk about this at all, then it's a decision they made by not wanting to be on it for whatever reason...I guess to make people not have online accounts only to get him as this might cause many to cancel stilleto accounts and all.

But being I usually listen to howard all day and on my drive in to work, I usually only listen to music at the gym in the evening anyways, so this will work great for me :).

If I really need to listen to howard, I'll stream him on the ooTunes App I have. It's a pain to login each time, but it works.
