Skybox M3 component cable help

Hi new here seams like a good forum to ask questions about these boxes ive just ordered one of them boxes off ebay,

I've noticed they only have RCA/AV (composite) and HDMI as there outputs to start off with i plan on having the TV in my bedroom because its more convenient the problem is the TV i've got in there is not a HD TV but it is a EDTV so it has component but not HDMI. has anyone tried using a HDMI to component cable (the YPBPR cable)(for example ebay 110763408085) with these and if so do you know if it would work with my EDTV (most likaly just displaying in 480P) i dont want to use the RCA cable as i think it looks shocking i use the component on my dvd player as it looks a lot better, when the box gets moved down stairs it will be direct to HDMI so not much of a problem down there.

That cable will not work. It does not convert the receiver's digital signal to be displayed on the TV's analog inputs.

You would need a digital to analog convertor such as this ebay item 251130253512

Thanks guys for the reply some reason it did not email me that you'd replied lol so sorry for late replying back.

TBH it seams silly but its not worth spending £20 on for that TV it will only be upstairs for a month if that if that its just till i can get a ethernet cable router downstairs to take advantage of the boxes media streaming, So im sure i can put up with using it with AV for then lol.
