Sling player app for Windows phone and iphone

Well, now that Sling player is putting the app on the new windows phone, has anybody tried it?
I'd hate to spend $30, only to find out it doesn't work with the 922.
I've seen other posts that show it working with the iphone back a couple years ago.
But I'm wondering if this is a different app that maybe only works with stand alone sling players.

The sling player mobile app on my evo works with my 922 still. You just have to create a sling account with your 922 only difference with the sling app vs the dra one is you will have to use the options like you would a remote. No going to the guide and flicking thru channels. But I guess it is like using a sling box in that respect. It will still work as long as you can get the sling acct created first.
