Solar outages?

Are solar outages (in the Spring and Fall) experienced by KU FTA users? I live a pretty unexciting life, and was sort of looking forward to seeing it happen with my new setup.
As usual, I forgot about it, and missed whatever might have happened.
Bummer.

Not to worry. You won't be disappointed (or maybe you will). It's gauranteed to happen 2 times a year. There seems to be no way out of it when that sneaky Sun tries to hide behind a satellite.
