Here's the link on Ku band footprint from 93 W* bird.

So far no news on whether they are going to use video and radios feeds.😎 :hungry2 :hatsoff

Hopefully, it will be a satellite for us (video and radio)!

Since their filing a couple of months ago to request the Ku band, I put an LNB on my 99/105 dish in anticipation. Just waiting for a signal (after approval) to tweak the LNB!

We need a "new" (just a few years old) satellite for Ku, most of the others are getting "long in the tooth".

I scanned that location early this morning and I found three transponders, but no channels. Unless they're bleeding over from 95W. I haven't scanned that because it's supposed to be all DirecTV.

I tried again just a little while ago and got nothing. So either they're not full-time, or they're on the satellite at 95W that's in an inclined orbit.

My LNB for 93w needs a signal to tweak it, but I do now and then get a bleed-over from 91w, which has 11 transponders with a SR of 63999 (according to my Amiko). So you could be getting bleed-over from there.

EDIT: 11 transponders, not 6 as first typed.

When I blind scan the wasteland of Ku from 89W through 95W using two different receivers and two different systems, I see no tps at all right now. My receivers may not be capable of receiving above SR 60000. I am using USALS which could be off a little but blind scanning would often pick up tps even if not pointing absolutely precisely at the satellite and even if not locked.

Added: Tried a third receiver (GT Media V9 Prime) and now am picking up multiple (seven) SR 63999 tps on 91W.

The ones I saw had a much lower symbol rate. I think it was 15500, which is kind of distinctive, maybe it'll mean something to someone.

The Edision supposedly scans up to 60000. I wonder what's going on with the 63999 -- are they on the Bell satellite, or something else? I haven't scanned 91W in a long time.

I confirmed too that my Edision Mio+ doesn't see anything on 91W either. I think the reason is it tops out at SR 60000. It won't accept any SR above that figure.
