I bought one of these before the Regza got here, and used it to calibrate. I've owned the DVE BR for awhile now, and I must say I prefer the S&M disc.
The test patterns are easy to navigate with the right and left arrows on the remote, and at any time while the pattern is up, if you press the up arrow, it pops up instructions for that pattern and correct and incorrect images.
