Spectrum goes all streaming

According to a report from the Hollywood Reporter, Spectrum plans to drop less popular channels and bundle more streaming services. The hope is that they will be able to create smaller, cheaper bundles of channels and streaming services.

The one thing I am noticing, Charter/Spectrum is making plans to drop these channels, yet no mention of monthly bills for subscribers becoming less, they have had two price increases every year for the last 2-3 years, doubt that will change.

This about Comcast and it’s plan for the Xumo box that they and Charter will use-

These boxes will cost you $5 a month and a $15 one-time activation fee. Also, customers are limited to just three devices per account.

Hard for them to give up those fees, in a year, that is $85 dollars, Roku Ultra goes on sale multiple times in a year for $69.

So with Broadcast Channel Fee, RSN and one Xumo Box, that is about $45 monthly in just those fees.

How the **** do they still have 14 Million Video Subscribers.
