anyone with these particular items? if so is it possible to run the sso thru the pvr 150 & use codecs from the pc to decode 4.2.2 content live (maybe a slight delay)? interesting to see if it works, ill find out eventually (ill get an sso sometime).

I doubt you'd be able to turn the blocky video that the SSO produces from 4:2:2 feeds into an intelligible signal. I could be wrong though.

If you want to view 4:2:2, albeit not live, record it on the SSO, convert it to a .ts file, and play it with VLC.

just thinking about a dvb card, all it does is bring the signal to the pc & then the pc decodes the signal (the signal comes in as a raw .ts tho)... the codecs bring in the 4.2.2

vlc wouldnt be my chosen player if i had to convert it to transport stream (vlc is a bit grainy)... mpc provides a better pic to me

MPC would work as well, however there is no built-in 4:2:2 codec in MPC as there is in VLC. You would have to use an add-on codec such as Elecard.
