Hi there,
I have been trying to get Nahuel1 but no signal and therefore my receiver wont blindscan. I have a motor and put in my coordinates and it turns fine to the rest of the satellites just by entering their location, and I think it turns to this satellite aswell, but there is no signal.
I read in a post here that Nahuel1 doesn't work with a Standard LNB but works with a Universal one, why? What is the difference?

Thanks in advance for you help,

Ftamart

There are 2 bands for KU
Low-10.7-11.7
Hi-11.7-12.2

The Standard LNB only scans from 11.7-12.2Ghz whereas the Universal will scan from 10.7-12.2Ghz (actually it scans up to 12.75 but in the US thats the DBS band).

If you look at Lyngsat under Nahuel1, the frequencies are below 11700 so you need a Universal. Most of the beam is towards South America but depending on location you might get something. Normally the only satellite that needs a universal is PAS9 at 58W
